Reiki with Crystal Healing Workshop for Reiki practitioners

Crystals form deep within the earth’s crust and their beauty holds a fascination for many people. Throughout history their therapeutic properties have been harnessed to treat all manner of ailments and  it is believed crystal healing dates back to the ancient Atlantean and Lemurian civilisations.

Crystals come in all colours, shapes and sizes and nowadays they are readily available in New Age shops or through the internet where you will find both large and small stones including natural rough crystals, crystal clusters, slices, wands, tumbled stones and crystals fashioned into ball, sphere, obelisk, egg, pyramid and Buddha shapes.

Many Reiki practitioners feel drawn to working with crystal healing and although crystals do not form part of the Usui Reiki Ryoho the energies complement each other.  You can either place the crystals on the body as you apply Reiki through the crystal, place the stones around the person you are healing or have them hold one in their hand throughout the treatment.

You don’t need to have lots of crystals or an in depth knowledge to use them in your Reiki practice.  Perhaps have some clear quartz for healing or to form a crystal grid, rose quartz for emotional healing and an amethyst crystal for meditation along with a small selection of coloured stones to work with and this workshop will enable you to introduce you to combining  crystal healing along with your Reiki practice.

The workshops are ongoing and usually held in an evening from 7.00pm - 9.45pm and restricted to small groups to ensure individual attention and dates are posted on the Calendar.  A course handbook and refreshments are included and crystals will be available for you to work with during the evening.

Reiki with Crystal Healing Treatments for Balance and Harmony

Crystal Reiki is a Reiki treatment with the addition of crystals and gemstones placed intuitively on or around the body. Alternatively a subtle body massage can be given to clear the aura using a crystal wand and Reiki then the body is infused with healing energy again using a crystal wand amplified with Reiki energy.  Crystals work well with Reiki and  this treatment provides all the benefits of a regular Reiki treatment  and as such can be used to treat any ailment.  Reiki with crystals is a safe and gentle treatment making it suitable for everyone including the very young and the elderly.  It can also be used to treat animals. 

The treatment is non-invasive and all you will be asked to remove are your shoes as you relax on a treatment couch or futon.  Meditative music is usually played to aid relaxation and I often burn incense or diffuse essential oils into the room.

Crystal Reiki works by placing crystals and gemstones intuitively on or around the body while giving a Reiki treatment to restore balance and harmony.  It is believed that when placed close to specific organs or energy points within the body, crystals activate a vibrational response.  Alternatively a Reiki crystal aura massage can be given to clear the subtle body before infusing the physical body with healing energy using a crystal wand.  Crystal Reiki incorporates Japanese Reiki techniques which means I will be placing my hands lightly over the crystals and your body.   However, this is non-intrusive and most people notice a pleasant sensation of heat, warmth, tingling, pulsation or coolness emanating from my hands.  The treatment is extremely relaxing and because of this you might  drift off into your own meditative space or perhaps fall asleep.  Many people do and it is when you reach this state of deep relaxation that self-healing begins.

Every treatment is different and most people feel deeply relaxed and nurtured. Some report seeing colours, feeling a gentle breeze or having visions during the treatment but rest assured whatever sensations you do or do not feel will be right for you. Reiki with crystal healing strives to reach the heart of the 'dis-ease' and restore equilibrium.

Crystals have many properties and choosing the ones that resonate with you will assist the Reiki energy to restore imbalance. The effects are cumulative and regular Crystal Reiki treatment will encourage wellbeing and restore vitality. It can be used as a stand alone treatment for stress related ailments as well as to treat all kinds of 'dis-ease' and works well alongside other complementary therapies, herbal and homeopathic remedies. Reiki with crystals supports conventional medicine throughout more serious illness, eliminating stress and tension while accelerating recovery.  Therefore, whether your 'dis-ease' is mental, emotional, spiritual or physical Reiki with crystals will encourage healing. However, you don't have to be ill to enjoy Crystal Reiki and many people have the occasional treatment to boost the immune system keep themselves healthy.

Please note however that healing is not the same as curing and whilst Crystal Reiki will have a positive effect on your health you should not discontinue with any medication you have been prescribed and should see your doctor if you are worried about your health.

TREATMENT DURATION

The treatment itself will last about 1hr to 1 hr and 15 minutes although you will need to allow up to 2 hours for the session to include the consultation and aftercare advice.  I don't work to a strict timescale as I believe in giving the client all the time necessary to heal and if the energy is still flowing after an hour the healing will continue. 

Aftercare advice is provided so that you can make lifestyle changes to  prolong the benefits gained from the treatment and to accelerate healing.  Absent healing is also sent between sessions as required.

TREATMENTS REQUIRED

Chronic complaints usually need more sessions than acute problems which often respond more quickly.  Nevertheless, if you do have a specific ailment I usually suggest a minimum of three consecutive weekly treatments before reviewing the situation.  However, stress related ailments often only require a single session to set you on your healing journey.

An Introduction to Pendulum Dowsing Workshop

An introduction to pendulum dowsing is a fun workshop suitable for the beginner to teach you the basics of using a pendulum to tap into your inner knowing.  The workshop is  held in an evening and begins with determining your individual yes/no and maybe response.  Once you have this response you will be able to check for accuracy by asking simple questions and then as you gain confidence will use the pendulum to find answers to a whole host of questions.  With practice you will find that pendulum dowsing can be very accurate indeed allowing you to dowse for family and friends.

During the workshop you will learn how to draw and work with charts with sample charts and a training manual with sample charts is provided to get you started.  You can draw up charts to determine which lifestyle changes will improve your health; whether you have a vitamin/mineral deficiency; food intolerance/allergy; chakra imbalance; colour deficiency.  You can also use the pendulum to find the most suitable location when moving house; whether to accept a job offer; which car to buy or how to locate missing objects.

The workshop also covers the dowsing ethics and when it is or isn't appropriate to dowse.

There are various pendulums such as the crystal ones above or wooden ones but there  is no need to buy a pendulum unless you particularly want too.   It is easy to improvise  by using a ring on a thread, a small pendant on a chain, a needle and thread, a bead on a thread etc.

The workshop starts around 7.00pm and finishes at 9.30pm and includes a comprehensive training manual and refreshments.  Dates are posted on the Calendar
