Reiki Healing for Animals - Learn Usui Reiki in Barnsley, South Yorkshire to heal your pets

It isn't only humans who benefit from Reiki and one of my first healing success stories was with a tiny frog.  Small animals can be cupped in the palms although larger wild animals will probably only be able to be treat by distance healing.

Insects too are attracted to Reiki energy and on a visit to a tropical butterfly house a huge butterfly flew into the crowd and settled on my leg where it stayed for a good fifteen minutes much to to amazement of passers by.

Reiki works with plants and studies have shown that plants receiving healing grow stronger than the plants which which aren't given healing.  Working with the Reiki energy strengthens your connection to nature paving the way to communication with the flowers and trees.

Animals accept healing.  Indeed animals are natural healers and this has been demonstrated time and time again by my own pets. When Jasper, my black labrador reached fourteen his eye muscles began to weaken and his  eyes started to slip upwards under his eyelids leaving only the whiles of his eyes visible.  The vet said there was no cure but Trixie had other ideas and much to Jasper's consternation began licking his eyes until they returned to normal.

Attunement to the Reiki energy provokes a positive response in our pets who never fail to notice our new vibration.  Reiki helps us to connect with our pets making communication easier and indeed many 1st Degree students come along to learn Reiki specifically for healing their animals.  2nd Degree Reiki students have additional tools at their disposal and can use the Reiki symbols to amplify the Reiki energy, connect, communicate and give mental/emotional healing to their pets.  The symbols can be used in both hands-on and distance healing, which is equally effective and if like most of my pets, yours too is a rescue animal, you can work with the Reiki symbols to heal past trauma.

Working intuitively is the best way to treat pets.  The animal will let you know when the session is over.  In addition, giving Reiki to the pet's food and water is also beneficial and you can send Reiki healing with the eyes  (gyoshi ho) as well as on the breath (koki ho).  These are all methods I have used frequently with all my pets including my very sick budgie, Perky, my fishes Billie and Bertie and my dog Jed.  Jed had an allergic reaction to his medication and was so distressed he couldn't stand still for hands-on healing.   His skin was inflamed and he raced around the room stopping only briefly to rub his body on the carpet.  However,  blowing the Reiki symbols over him as he ran by calmed him down enough to enable me to give hands-on healing.

Reiki works well in water therefore acquarium fish can be healed by placing your hands in the water or on the surface of the water to adjust the vibration.  Alternatively you could give Reiki to your fish by placing your hands on the side of the tank or charging a crystal with Reiki before adding it to the aquarium.

Nevertheless, while animals definitely respond positively to Reiki we need to remember that as with humans, healing is not the same as curing.  Therefore when an animal has reached the end of it's natural lifespan Reiki will eliminate pain and fear and  help with the transition from the earth plane.  Indeed I treat my black labrador Jasper with Reiki and his passing was a really positive experience for all the family.  The next day I was able to use Reiki to connect with him during my daily meditation and saw him well and happy and reunited with Murray, his former companion, my golden labrador who had passed over several years earlier.  Reiki helped Trixie (pictured above in her younger days) during the last months of her life by keeping her spirit strong and her body active right until her passing and despite her suffering from mouth cancer she was happy and lively until she left.

Your pets never leave you and are always there in spirit and Reiki helps you connect with them both in this world and the next confirming the meaning of the distance healing symbol the HSZSN - no past no present no future, all time is now.

Reiki is safe and gentle for all animals and the perfect complement to veterinary treatment.  However, you should never discontinue prescribed medication and always seek veterinary advice immediately if your pet becomes ill
